Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new opportunities in public infrastructure, healthcare, transit, and commercial construction

• Build strong relationships with GCs, architects, engineers, and procurement officers

• Represent Vallen at networking events, bid walks, industry conferences, and meetings

• Deliver presentations and proposals that align with client goals and project specs

• Track and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and bid invitations

• Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction to prepare competitive bids

• Maintain CRM records and report sales activity to leadership

• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity in key regions

• Promote Vallen’s capabilities, certifications (MBE/DBE/ACDBE), bonding capacity, and project portfolio
   

Requirements

• 3+ years of sales or business development experience in construction or related industries

• Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals in the B2B space

• Understanding of construction project lifecycles, procurement methods, and client expectations

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales pipeline tracking

• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to travel across Texas

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field)
