Reports To: Project Manager / General Superintendent
 

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site activities, including managing subcontractors, labor crews, and equipment

• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and field documentation

• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and OSHA regulations

• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, and inspectors to ensure smooth workflow

• Execute work per plans, specs, and schedules while driving production and quality

• Lead daily huddles and site meetings, communicating objectives and resolving field issues

• Review and implement look-ahead schedules, manage logistics and material deliveries

• Enforce quality control protocols and ensure punch lists are completed prior to turnover

• Represent the company professionally in client and owner meetings on-site
   

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of field experience in commercial or infrastructure construction

• Proven leadership in projects such as healthcare, transit, aviation, or municipal work

• Deep understanding of construction sequencing, codes, and project safety management

• Strong knowledge of drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications

• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project or Primavera)

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills

• OSHA 30 Certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred

• Ability to lead diverse teams and manage dynamic site conditions with confidence
